| Customer Reviews: Revitalizing The Weber September 20, 2007 P. R. Foltz (Doylestown, PA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this part as part of my project to revitalize my 7 year old Weber Silver Genesis B grill - which sees some heave usage. My original catch pan got corroded - even though I replaced the aluminum drip pan inserts regularly.
This part, along with new flavorizer bars, igniter and grill surface (all easy to order and replace) totally rehabbed my grill into 'like-new' condition.
You can improvise your own drip pan with a wire hangar and an empty can of beans if need be! I just liked have a newish looking grill. :)
Quality build October 30, 2007 S. Park (Tampa, FL) This one seems better built than the original drip pan that came with the Weber grill.
Love my Weber! January 5, 2010 G. Galef What makes a Weber so awesome? Part availability. Mine is over ten years old, and when I have an occasional item finally die due to wear and tear, I can always get the part I need. All my friends who saved a couple hundred bucks ten years ago are either grilling on rusted out junk, or have purchased two other grills by now. Mine looks like it could easily last another ten years!
This catch pan holder fits right in the original bracket on my 900 LP model Weber from 1998.
Great product!
Does What It Was Designed to Do March 10, 2008 Kenneth R. Mitschke (Schertz, TX USA) I'm impressed overall with the durability of Weber grills and availability of Weber grill parts. I've had my Weber grill for eight years and have never replaced anything twice. By the looks of it, I may be able to get another eight years out of it!
