This Weber Gas Grill - Genesis 310 features an enclosed cart with stainless steel doors, stainless steel handles, and accent colored painted side and rear panels. The cooking system, rated at 42,000 BTUs, includes (3) stainless steel gas burners and an electronic Crossover ignition system. The cooking grates are 7mm diameter stainless steel rods. This Weber Genesis Grill also features stainless steel Flavorizer bars. The primary grill cooking area measures 507 sq. Inches; the warming rack area measures 130 sq. Inches, giving a total cooking area of 637 sq. Inches. Other features include 6 tool holders, enclosed tank storage area, precision fuel gauge, (2) stainless steel work surfaces, (2) heavy-duty front locking casters and (2) heavy-duty back swivel casters. I have had 5 or so BBQ's in the last 26 yrs. The cheap ones like Charm Glow only lasted a year or so. About 10 years ago I got a Weber Sprit BBQ and it last until this year. I was able to rebuild the flavor bars and grill twice in that 10 year period. Weber is great in that you can get parts for old BBQ's. However, I live near the beach and BBQ a lot. The Sprit had an aluminum box and porclin coated iron parts for the grill and flavor bars. These parts rusted out and /or corroded. So this time I wanted a BBQ that was ALL stainless. In looking arround I found several makes that claimed to be stainless but had many nonstainless parts. The Weber Gennesis was expensive but is ALL stainless. Assemby was fairly easy but the diagrams (no writen instructions)take some studing at each step. Total time to assemble was 2.5 hr. This grill is well made and does a terrific job of BBQing. It is not cheap but I belive it is worth the money in the long run. The S310 is a little big for my use and I would have liked a two burner Sprit sized BBQ but they do not make that size in stainless.

Purchased the Genesis stainless grill in February,08. Assembly and set up was pretty easy. Assembly instructions would have been better with more illustrations, however, with trial and error problems were easily worked out. First grilling was a dream. The indirect heat makes a great steak, however recipe book directions are not exact, can't be due to thickness of meat etc. Particularly like no bricketts,the flavor bars, themomoter and it's good looks. The 10 feet flexible gas line allows for movement of the grill. Good to have a quality American made product!

This is my first Weber, and so far it has been everything I hoped for and more. It heats up to 550°+ F in about 6 mins, distributes the heat evenly, and suppresses grease flare-ups super fast. Every meat cooked on it has been juicy and delicious, including chicken and fish. Even the veggies have turned out perfect. Clean-up is quick because the stainless steel grates stick to food less than cast iron; and anything that falls through ends up in the collection tray - which is easily emptied after each use. Finally, I definitely can't forget to mention that it looks absolutely stunning in our backyard.

Our old Genesis spirit (18 years old) finally gave way to the new stainless steel grill. This grill works quicker, grills more evenly and is a joy to use.

bought this 3 weeks ago and it works great. biggest fear was that i'd have flareups. i previously owned a holland grill that uses entirely indirect heating. but... you lose that char flavor with the holland, not to mention those eye-catching grill sear marks. tried the new weber and have had no flare-ups that have burned and wrecked the meat. there are some minor ones, but nowhere near bad enough to wreck your dinner. i now have those nice grill marks AND great char flavor in my burgers and steaks. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!
